Lionel Zinsou

An economist and former prime minister of Benin, Lionel Zinsou serves today as President of SouthBridge, a major player in rebuilding Franco-African relations. A former director of the AfricaFrance Foundation, he is a longtime “afroptimist,” and a born optimist in general. He is convinced that the opportunities offered by globalization can help overcome the fears they may spark. It is necessary to put these new opportunities in the service of progress and people, something to which Lionel Zinsou dedicates all his strength and experience with our shared future at stake.
