Yves Ubelmann

Trained as an architect, Yves Ubelmann founded Iconem, a start-up which attemps to immortalize endangered archeological sites such as Palmyra. Using drones that take aerial photos combined with an innovative algorithm which makes it possible to obtain hyperrealistic 3D renderings (you might have had the opportunity to admire them in the recent exhibition “Eternal sites” at the Grand Palais), Iconem militates for the preservation of those sites, not only through the production of images, but also by raising the awareness of public opinion and States in order to create emergency funds for endangered world heritage. This is a truly committed start-up.
